Brooklynn was in bed for a good time and quiet, then all of a sudden she starts yelling "mom! water! dad! water!" When I open the door she quietly says "water." I go get her some, convince her to give me a hug then she promptly says "bye bye." She even pushed me away when I tried to give her goodnight cuddles, saying "all done. night"

Brooklynn comes out of her room crying.
"Mom! Hurt bum! Need change diaper!" haha.
Not sure how those go together, but ok!

Brooklynn picked up her fake real phone.
Her Conversation:
"Hello dad. What are you doing down there? Cutting tree branches? oh. (long pause) Dad? What are you doing down there? You downstairs? bye dad!"
We've been doing a lot of work in the yard and in the basement lately.

While driving to Rexburg today, we took the back way - which has an elk farm. Brooklynn know's it's there, so I asked her what was coming up soon/what kind of animals are up there. "Squirrels" she replies. Then we see a horse out the window in a borrow pit with it's head below the tall grass. We ask B what she sees and she replies with no hesitation "a hippo!"
On the way back, down the same road, we stopped near the fence b/c an elk was pretty close. They were bugle-ing and one of them ran. Brooklynn yells out "look! that elk is running! Good running, elk!"
And further down the road there was a brown and white spotted horse - like a cow. Brooklynn straight up said it was a cow. We couldn't convince her otherwise.
She also repeated us after we said "understandable" - perfectly.
